LOVE MY BUNS was created by chefs Nicole LeBlanc and Bruce Enloe, former owners of The Branch Organic Restaurant, in Kemptville, Ontario, for their daughter, Abigail.

Diagnosed with Autism at the age of 2, Abigail suffered from many gastro-intestinal and behavioural issues that began subsiding when gluten, dairy, and sugar were removed from her diet. Encouraged by these improvements, more research led to the Specific Carbohydrate Diet as outlined in Dr. Elaine Gottschall’s book ‘Breaking The Vicious Cycle’ about the diet she created for her own sick daughter.

After 10 years, Abigail continues to respond well to the diet and, along with supplementation, has come out of her Autism ‘bubble’ and is flourishing, earning her the nickname ‘Happygail’.
